A Pedestal gallery activation

Pedestal First

Art on the first floor.
We turn empty and underused ground-floor spaces into curated, staffed galleries that bring people in, get your property talked about and help you lease.

The problem

An empty storefront costs more than lost rent. It makes a new building look unfinished, keeps foot traffic away from the block, and gives prospective tenants nothing to picture. Established properties face the same problem when a neighborhood goes quiet.

You provide the space. We handle everything else.

A gallery means managing dozens of artists, hundreds of artworks, contracts, insurance, installation, sales and events. Pedestal runs all of it, and you get one point of contact.

01

Artist open calls

We design and promote the call, review every application, and select artists around your show's theme. Artists apply free, which brings in stronger, more diverse work.

02

Artist communications

Every email and deadline: acceptances, onboarding, agreements, waivers, drop-off and payouts. Artists apply, sign forms and submit work through our own online platform.

03

Project management

The full timeline from site visit to closing night: floor plans, mock-ups, permits, insurance certificates, vendors, install crews, lighting and signage.

04

Gallery operations & sales

We staff the gallery, sell the art, handle payments and pay artists their share. You never handle a transaction.

05

Marketing & events

Press, social content, the opening reception, hosted events, and private event bookings that bring income to your property.

06

Reporting

A monthly report on visitors, events, sales, social reach, press, leasing tours hosted and private event income.

What you do? Approve the concept, give us access to the space and a property-manager contact, and sign off on signage and private event bookings. That's it.
The Pedestal platform

Built to run dozens of artists without the chaos.

Pedestal runs every activation on its own artist database and workflow. Applications, contracts, insurance, artwork details and deadlines live in one system, not in spreadsheets and email threads, so nothing slips and you always know where things stand.
